In perspective

As bad and painful this loss was for Sharks fans, there have been far worst chokes in sports history. The Red Sox down 3-0 series comeback against the Yanks has to be most memorable one in recent history and perhaps all. Twice teams have come back 3-0 in NHL series. But the most recent one I recall in a single game in playoff series would have to be the "Stunner at Staples". LA was down 3-0 with 6:07 remaining and stunned the Red Wings to even and eventually win that 1st round series. The Sharks were only up one goal by the end of the second, so the choke doesn't sound all that bad.
