I'm loving the Sharks - I feel like I have some sort of motherly glow when I talk/think about them. I guess I'm only allowed to talk like this cause I'm a girl. I'm sure the guys are cringing as they read this. Some thoughts:
- 4 out of 4 in their first 4 games. That's pretty impressive. However, this does not mean it's ok to slack off - I'm sure McLellan won't let that happen. He's looks very intense on the bench, almost expressionless. But he's definitely whipped them into shape.
- Thornton and Marleau in the top ten in face-offs. That's very very good. When the team is showing improvement in ALL areas, you know they really have improved and it's not just luck.
- Pickles is THE BOMB! Vlasic, Blake, and Marleau are leading the league in +/-.
- We've given ourselves a nice comfortable lead in the league, hopefully the difference will keep widening as the season progresses.
- 2 shorties in 1 game.
